Can I Take The Protein Shake Without Working Out?

I bought protein shake today but I can’t work out because I strained my left arm muscle but it says on the label that “The amino acids found in protein contribute to tissue repair, hormone regulation and are essential for intercellular communications throughout the whole body.”
So does that mean that I can take it without doing workout?

    Yeah you can. It’s totally fine. The proteins will help repair your muscle tissue.

    yes you can take it preferably first thing in the morning because your body is depleted of nutrition due to 8 hrs of fasting during sleep. also good idea to take it before bed with milk to slow the release of the protein down(milk does that, its a slow releasing protein) so you can feed your muscle while you sleep. SO YES do it specially while injured, it’ll help the process
