Normally I drink a protein shake before and after my workouts, but I was wondering if adding creatine will be harmful in any way?

Blue Dog Heeler thats the biggest load of **** I’ve ever heard. Creatine is amazingly safe. I have recently done a research assignment for uni on Creatine and I can tell you it doesnt shrink anything, doesnt harm your liver, doesnt damage your kidneys. These are all Hypothetical and have never been proven. I guess you understand what Creatine is used for so I wont go into that. Yes Creatine is fine to drink after protein, just dont mix it together. There may be no problem in mixing them bu I know Creatine can become unstable in other liquids.
I still cant believe she thought it was bad for you.
I feel like talking about it now, I’m not asking for points by doing this, I’m just bored.
Creatine is naturally produced by a process called novo creatine biosynthesis. It is transported throught the blood stream to Skeletal muscle. It is also taken via the diet. Creatine helps the resynthesis of ATP(a fuel for muscular contraction). By causing a higher resynthesis of ATP it means the muscle can possibly lift more and definatley do more reps. It has also been linked to Muscle gain, but mostly attributed to water retention. Water retention is harmless and goes after taking Creatine. Creatine should be cycled, in other words taking it for 4-8 weeks then not taking it for 2 weeks. This is so the body does not adapt to its effects.
Poortmans and Francaux (2002) said that the possible problems associated with Creatine were reported in a minority of cases and were not proven.
Haha hope that helps.
Creatine wastes your kidneys and can cause kidney failure as early as the age of thirty. It also inhibits your bodies natural was of making its own muscle cells…Meaning it will depend on that creatine every time you need a new muscle cell…instead of making it from its own stem cell. (not to mention it makes your winkie shrink)
