I am doing softball this year. I didn’t make the team last year because i didn’t practice at all before tryouts. But this year i am prepared and am going to start practicing. My dad says i need to start lifting weights (we have our own). Is this okay? I heard that if you do it at a young age you can stunt your growth? And i don’t want that!=(

well 14 isn’t that young. i stopped growing when i was 11 or 12. besides 5′5″ is a good size for a girl, i’m 5′1″!
