It seem like every time I start weight lifting again, I get sick and have to start all over again. I don’t do more than I can handle as far as the weights, just FYI.

Weight lifting, like any sort of exercise, helps to improve your immune system. The only logical reason for your sickness is that you havn’t adjusted your food intake to match your increased amount of activity. This will leave you feeling tired and it is that tiredness that will lower your immune responses.
So just eat more.
actually exersice and weight training improves ur immune systym……may b u r not eating enough
Vampire V is completely wrong. I recently read that weights can and will lower your immune system if not performed and rested well. What happens is you drain your body of energie when you workout heavily, it lowers your body’s natural defences since your tired. That’s why rest is important. So yes, it does lower your immune system. Just like when your tired or cold you tend to catch the flu or a cold easier.
