How much weight should I be lifting to get the best results?
At what speed should I have the treadmill at and at what height?
How often should I lift/run?
I know these may be stupid questions, but Im looking for the best results. Any other tips would be great. It’s about time I got in shape.


If you want to put on muscle mass, then look at lifting weights. Start lifting whatever your are comfortable to do 3 sets of 10 repetitions. Then you can move up in weight once those are two easy. Split your workout into sections (arms one day, chest another day, legs another, etc)
To do your cardio with a treadmill, the speed and height will depend on your heart rate. Most treadmills can measure that and will tell your if you’re in a fat loss zone or whatever (for example a 160 bpm heart rate is definitely in the fat loss zone)
